product terms.

Effective on release of the revised pricing. These terms cover Ground Control, which supplies matching residential and commercial properties, ordered by area and selected criteria.

What you are ordering.

You choose ZIPs, how many roofs (from 1 up to 10,000 in one online order, in steps of 1; more than 10,000 is arranged by phone), and any criteria or add-ons. Your quantity counts matching delivered properties, after required filters and deduplication, not buildings scanned. Each order is priced in credits per roof, shown before you place the order and locked for seven days. The number you order is a ceiling, not a promise: we deliver the roofs in your ZIPs that meet your selected criteria, up to that number, and an order for fewer than every roof delivers the first roofs we find. If your ZIPs run short and “Fill from nearby ZIPs” is on (it is unless you turn it off at checkout), we may also deliver 90%+ matches from ZIPs right next to your area, at the same credits per roof. We may also add a neighboring ZIP when a property inside your area is listed under it, or when you ask. Would rather not keep a property from an added ZIP? Tell us within 30 days and we’ll make it right. We never loosen your criteria or raise your credits per roof to fill an order.

The service provides nonexclusive property data for your business’s mailing, canvassing, and optional contact research. It does not promise inbound leads, exclusivity, confirmed damage, purchase intent, revenue, or sales. Roof age is an estimate from imagery that is never older than two years when we process your order, plus property records. A processed date is the date we finished your order. Images and image dates are not delivered.

Credits, rates and accepted scope.

Any roof age costs 0.5 credits per residential roof before selected filters and add-ons. This selection has no age-confidence requirement and may include unknown ages. An age-qualified roof uses 1.5 credits before selected filters and add-ons. The cash price of a credit depends on how many credits you purchase; it is separate from credits consumed by a matching property. The 15+ age tier adds 0.5 credits per delivered roof. Broad targeting is included: Any, 1,500+ sq ft, $80k+ neighborhoods, asphalt and no solar change the count, not the price. Narrow filters carry a per-roof surcharge shown on the option before you choose it: 2,000+ sq ft adds 0.25 credits and 2,500+ sq ft 0.5; $100k+ neighborhoods add 0.25 and $120k+ neighborhoods 0.5; tile adds 0.5 and metal 1; has solar adds 1; and a complex roof shape adds 0.25. Your order identifies included property fields and optional research. Owner names, mailing addresses and contact details are not promised as part of the base property search; select the relevant research add-on if you need them. Supplied incidental fields remain available where present. Neighborhood income is the median household income of the home's census tract, not the individual household's income.

Phone, email and DNC results cost 0.23 credits per matched roof. A phone or email match is charged once, including when multiple contacts are returned; no match, no charge. A name or mailing address alone is not a paid match. Callable phones only costs 1.15 credits per delivered home instead: every delivered home has a matched owner phone with no Do Not Call or litigator flag in our check, and homes without one are not delivered. It is not a scrub against the National Do Not Call Registry. A supplied 16-page roof report costs 0.5 credits. Storm history, where supplied, costs 0.25 credits per roof and checks severe hail, damaging wind and tornado events in the last 18 months. A completed check may find no nearby events. It is appended history, not a requirement that an event occurred and not evidence of property damage. A shortfall never raises the accepted credits per roof. Orders of more than 10,000 roofs and all resale require an agreed quote.

Commercial orders start at 10 buildings. A building never uses more credits in a larger order. With a 10+ roof age it uses 31.25 credits up to 100 buildings, 28.12 at 500 and 23.43 from 1,000; with any roof age, 12.5 credits at 20 buildings, 7.5 at 80 and 5 from 500. A size between two of those points uses the credits on a straight line between them, rounded to a hundredth of a credit. The size you order sets the credits a building uses, and a shortfall never raises them. Selected filters and add-ons are extra and the same at every size. A credit costs the same for residential and commercial orders. Earlier accepted orders keep their original quantity, scope and rates.

The price of a credit falls as the purchase, or the order it is bought for, grows. A first one-time purchase is 25 credits or more, from $50 with the small-order fee; a first Subscribe & save refill is from $20 a month, with no fee. After that you can add as few as 1 credit. A standard roof uses 1.5 credits. Under 250 credits a credit costs $1, and a one-time purchase under 250 credits for an order under 250 credits adds a $25 small-order fee. After a first purchase the fee is never more than the credits it is charged with. Subscribers never pay it. 250 to 499 credits at $1 each; 500 to 999 credits at 80¢ each; 1,000 to 1,999 credits at $0.665 each; 2,000 to 4,999 credits at 60¢ each; 5,000 credits or more at ≈ 53¢ each. Credits bought once for an order are priced at the size of the whole order; a refill is priced at its own monthly size. Subscribe & save takes 20% off monthly refills of 25 credits or more. A subscriber can buy extra credits once at 10% off, up to one month's refill in any 30 days. From 250 credits, a purchase between two pack sizes is priced per credit at the smaller pack's rate. A workspace’s first one-time purchase starts at 25 credits for $50, small-order fee included; a first Subscribe & save refill starts at 25 credits for $20 a month, with no fee. Previously funded workspaces can buy the whole credits needed for a top-up, from one credit, without repeating the first-purchase floor; the smallest card charge is $5. Existing available credits are used first. The price in dollars, with any applicable tax, is shown before you pay.

Subscribe & save starts at 25 credits a month, and a subscriber can add any amount to the monthly refill. It adds the same pack of credits to your balance every month for 20% less than the one-time price. It is a subscription to credits only: it never places or repeats an order, and you spend the credits on any ZIPs whenever you order. You can skip a month, pause or cancel anytime from the Credits page (or through Manage billing). A skipped month is not charged and adds no credits, and the following month renews on its own. A pause lasts until you resume it. A cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period, after which you can subscribe again. Credits already added stay in your balance.

Pay by card or an available Link method through Stripe Checkout. Successful verified payment adds the purchased credits to your balance. Renewals charge the authorized monthly amount; failed payments add no credits. An order starts only while its accepted scope and the credits to cover it are current.

A one-time credit purchase of fewer than 250 credits, for an order that uses fewer than 250 credits, carries a $25 small-order fee, shown as its own line before you pay. After your first paid purchase the fee is never more than the price of the credits bought with it. Subscribe & save subscribers never pay it. The fee buys no credits. Exceptional work requires a separate quote, with any proposed fee and details disclosed before acceptance.

Credits and settlement.

When you place an order, the credits it could use are reserved from your balance. Only the roofs we deliver, and the add-ons we supply, use that reservation. The rest returns to your available credits when the order completes. An order that finds no roofs uses no credits.

Unused credits never expire and remain available for future orders. Credits are not redeemable for cash. You can ask for a full refund of any payment within 14 days, as our Refund Policy describes. Approved quality credits are permanent and used first. Reservations, releases, purchases, and quality remedies appear in one ledger with their source provenance.

Existing offers.

New accounts do not automatically receive a welcome-credit grant. Previously awarded valid offers retain their accepted terms and deadlines. Claimed purchased or quality credits do not expire. A future promotional offer, if displayed, states its separate terms before acceptance; it does not shorten the life of paid credits.

Selected features and delivery.

Listed visual features are normal order filters. For a home, the first distinct visual feature adds 1 credit. Each further feature adds 0.5 credit more than the one before (1.5, then 2), up to 2 credits each, because fewer properties have them all. For a commercial building the same steps are 1.88, 2.82 and 3.76 credits, and a gravel-surfaced roof is 9.4 credits. Trees by or over the roof together with a roof-age requirement add 0.5 credit for a home and 0.94 for a building, because tree cover makes the age harder to confirm. A feature already covered by a selected paid criterion is not charged twice. Separate required features must all match; selected alternative materials are alternatives within that material group. Off means no restriction. An unknown observation does not satisfy a required presence or absence. Roof age is required only when selected. Visible features reflect available imagery, not a current inspection or a guarantee of service need.

Accepted, funded orders under the current delivery contract complete within 48 calendar hours, with clear matching results up to the selected quantity or a documented closed shortfall and unused reserved credits released. The due time begins at funded acceptance, not an internal assignment. Usable partial results do not extend that deadline. An undefined feature needs an accepted definition and price before payment. Earlier accepted orders keep their original scope, rates and commitments.

Wrong roof? Credited back.

Within 30 days of delivery you can credit back any delivered address from the order page by choosing it and a reason. A wrong home returns every credit charged for that address, add-ons included. A wrong building returns the credits the building itself used, its base and building filters; owner research and decision-maker contact results found for it stay charged. Credit-backs are instant for up to 10 percent of an order's delivered addresses; further claims, and any claim marked "something else", are reviewed within two business days. Remedies are credits, not cash; they never expire, and the same address is not credited twice through a credit-back and a data review.

Final orders and subscriptions.

Once an order is placed, it cannot be cancelled or refunded. Credits reserved for roofs we do not find return to your balance when the order completes and remain available for later orders. You may request a review for an incorrect delivered address; an approved remedy credits what that address was charged. Credits never expire, are not cash and are not refundable.

A Subscribe & save subscription requires explicit permission for the monthly amount and the credits it adds. It renews every month until you cancel it from the Credits page. Skipping voids one renewal and the next month renews on its own; pausing stops renewals until you resume. Cancelling stops future renewals; orders already placed still complete, and existing files and credits are preserved. Monthly order schedules started under earlier terms keep running as accepted until you cancel them; each run excludes roofs already delivered to the workspace, and a delivery shortfall may require a territory or criteria change before the next run.

Files and data reviews.

Standard CSV, Excel, renaming, column ordering, conversions, and ZIP splitting are included. GeoJSON requires valid coordinates. CRM layouts are confirmed against the requested intake method; no native integration or software synchronization is included. New attributes need separately accepted terms.

Original files remain available during layout requests and corrections. Corrected versions and changed-record files retain stable property IDs. You may request a review of qualification or a purchased component. Approved remedies credit the attributable paid value; the same entitlement is not credited twice. Review explanations are preserved in the workspace.

Accounts and permitted use.

Your Ground Control account is separate from PorchRocket’s existing customer accounts. Keep access credentials private and grant teammates only the roles they need. Client workspaces keep credit, access, suppression, and prior deliveries separate. Agencies may use a workspace for the named client’s campaigns; bulk redistribution and recipient rights require agreed scope.

You are responsible for the permission and requirements that apply to your outreach. A phone match or address record does not establish consent, reachability, purchase intent, or an accepted advertising-platform audience. These data do not replace an inspection or determine damage, insurance coverage, valuation, or solar economics.

Ground Control is not a consumer reporting agency and its data are not consumer reports under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. You may not use them to decide eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, housing, or any other purpose that the Act covers. Contact matches carry litigator and state do-not-call flags where supplied; scrubbing against the National Do Not Call Registry requires your own subscription account number, and you must follow the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and state calling and texting rules.

Optional completion texts.

Text alerts require separate consent and verification for each order. The program sends a verification text and one completion alert. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out. A text issue never blocks your order, email notification, or downloads.
